A single-monitor arm that carries 4.4 to 22 lb on a sealed gas spring, so the screen stays where you leave it. Most desk arms use a tension spring you set with an Allen key. They hold until the spring relaxes, and then the monitor sinks a little further every few weeks. A gas spring keeps its pressure in a sealed cylinder: lift the screen, lower it, pull it toward you, push it back against the wall, and it stops where your hand stops.

Features and benefits

  • Full motion, one hand — height, depth, tilt and rotation all adjust without tools and without re-tightening.
  • Sealed gas spring, 4.4 to 22 lb — counterbalance holds steady over the life of the arm rather than fading.
  • Fits 13 to 32 in screens — covers the common 24 and 27 in panels and most 32 in displays.
  • Tilt of plus or minus 90 degrees — rotates to portrait for code, documents and long pages.
  • Aluminium alloy construction — matte black throughout, including the joint covers.
  • Desk clamp mount — fixes to the rear edge of the desk. No drilling, nothing permanent.

Before you order

Look at the back of your monitor for four screw holes arranged in a square, and measure the distance between them in millimetres — VESA is a metric standard everywhere, including the US. Check the panel weight on your monitor's spec sheet. A monitor with no mounting holes needs a separate VESA adapter bracket.

Good to know

A gas spring needs a minimum load to work against. Below 4.4 lb the arm will drift upward on its own, so a very light 13 in panel is a poor match for this model.

Common questions

Will this monitor arm fit my monitor?

It fits screens from 13 to 32 inches weighing 4.4 to 22 lb, with a standard VESA hole pattern on the back. Measure the distance between the four holes in millimetres and check your monitor's weight on its spec sheet.

Do I need to drill into my desk?

No. The arm uses a C-clamp that tightens onto the rear edge of the desk. Nothing is drilled and nothing is permanent.

What is the difference between a gas spring arm and a normal one?

A normal arm uses a tension spring you set with an Allen key, and that spring relaxes over time, so the monitor slowly sinks. A gas spring holds its pressure in a sealed cylinder and keeps the same counterbalance for the life of the arm.

Can I turn the monitor to portrait?

Yes. The head tilts through plus or minus 90 degrees, so the screen rotates to portrait for code, documents and long pages.

My monitor has no VESA holes. Can I still use it?

Not on its own. You need a separate VESA adapter bracket that clamps around the monitor and provides the mounting holes.
