Folding Phone Stand

A phone stand that turns — the base spins a full circle, so you swing the screen to whoever needs to see it. Most stands hold a phone at one angle, facing one direction, and moving it means picking it up. This one sits on a weighted base that rotates through 360 degrees, opens to almost any tilt on two hinges, and folds down to 2 cm when you want it in a bag.

Features and benefits

  • Weighted base rotates a full 360° — turn the screen toward someone without lifting anything
  • Two hinges give 180° of travel each, from upright for a video call to shallow for typing
  • Folds from 13 cm standing to 2 cm flat, thin enough to travel in a laptop sleeve
  • Aluminium throughout, with enough mass in the base that it does not slide when you tap the screen
  • Silicone pads at every contact point, so nothing rubs the back of the device
  • Holds phones and small tablets, in a case or out of one

Before you order

The rotating base needs a flat surface to turn on. It works on any desk or table; it is not meant for a lap or a soft surface.

Sized for phones and small tablets. A full-size tablet in a keyboard case is beyond what the cradle and base were designed to balance.

Leave a case on if you like — the cradle and the silicone pads accommodate a standard protective case.

Good to know

Why does a rotating base matter?

Because showing someone your screen normally means picking the phone up and handing it over. With a base that turns, you spin the stand and the phone stays where it is — useful on a call, in a meeting, or when you are following a recipe and move around the counter.

Will it hold a tablet as well as a phone?

Yes, up to a small tablet. The 8 cm base and the weight in it balance a phone or a compact tablet comfortably; a large tablet, particularly in a heavy keyboard case, sits beyond the point where the rotating base stays stable.

How flat does it actually fold?

Down to 2 cm from 13 cm standing. That is flat enough to slide into a laptop sleeve alongside the laptop, which is the reason to choose a folding stand over a fixed one — it travels with the bag rather than living on one desk.

Does it work with a case on?

Yes for standard cases. The cradle opens wide enough for a typical protective case and the silicone pads grip rather than scratch. Very thick rugged cases are the exception — check the fit at the widest setting.
