Under-Desk Headphone Hook
Aluminium, clamps under the desk edge, and folds flat when you are not using it. A headphone stand takes up the desk space you were trying to free. A hook takes none — it clamps to the underside of the desk, holds the headset out of the way, and folds back against the desk when it is empty.

Before you order
Check your desk edge. The clamp adjusts across a useful range, but a desk with a thick decorative lip or a frame rail right at the edge may not leave a clean surface to grip.
The silicone facing protects the finish, but on a very soft or painted edge it is worth checking the clamp tension rather than tightening it fully.
If you would rather have the headphones visible on the desk, the solid wood stand is the alternative.

Will it mark my desk?
It should not. Both clamp faces are lined with silicone, which spreads the pressure and keeps metal off the finish. On a soft or freshly painted edge, tighten only until the hook is firm rather than as far as it will go.
How much weight will it hold?
11 lb (5 kg), which is several times what any consumer headset weighs — even a heavy studio pair with a thick cable is comfortably inside that. The rating matters more for the occasional knock than for the static load.
Does it need drilling?
No. It clamps to the desk edge and adjusts to the thickness, so there is nothing to drill and nothing to glue. It comes off cleanly, which makes it suitable for a rented desk or an office you do not own.
Where exactly does it go?
Under the front edge of the desk, usually toward the side you do not write on, so the headphones hang clear of your knees. It can also mount on a vertical surface such as the side of a drawer unit.
