Sit-Stand Desk Converter
A standing desk that sits on the desk you already own. Replacing a desk is expensive and slow. A converter puts a second, height-adjustable surface on top of the one you have — monitors on the upper deck, keyboard and mouse on the tray below — so you can change posture through the day without changing furniture.
Features and benefits
- Two decks move together: monitors above, keyboard and mouse on their own tray below
- 31.5 × 15.7 in upper surface takes a single ultrawide, two monitors, or a laptop and a monitor
- Height range from 4.3 in seated to 19.8 in standing
- Wide keyboard tray keeps your wrists level with your elbows at both heights
- MDF and steel construction rated to 30 lb
- Sits on any desk — no drilling, no clamps, nothing to assemble into your existing furniture

Before you order
Measure your desk depth before ordering. The converter needs 15.7 in of depth for the upper surface, plus clearance for the keyboard tray to travel.
Total load is 30 lb across both decks. Two 24 in monitors and a keyboard come in comfortably under that; a large ultrawide plus a laptop may not.
This item ships from a US warehouse, so it usually arrives within about a week rather than the four to five weeks of a direct import.
Good to know
Will this work on my existing desk?
Yes, on any flat desk at least 15.7 in deep and wide enough for a 31.5 in footprint. It rests on the surface under its own weight — nothing is clamped, screwed or drilled, so it works equally on a rented desk you cannot modify.
How high should I set it when standing?
Set it so your elbows are at roughly 90 degrees with your forearms parallel to the floor when your hands are on the keyboard, then raise the monitors so the top of the screen is at or just below eye level. Those two heights are set independently here, which is the point of the separate tray.
Can it hold two monitors?
Two monitors up to 24 in fit the 31.5 in width and come in under the 30 lb limit. Check your monitors' weights and add their stands — a heavy stand can use up a surprising share of the budget.
How long does it take to raise?
A few seconds. Squeeze the handles and the whole upper assembly moves as one, so your screens and keyboard keep their relationship to each other and you do not re-adjust anything after each change.
