VESA Adapter Bracket
The bracket that puts a VESA pattern on a monitor that never had one. Plenty of monitors — particularly thin consumer models and all-in-ones — ship with no mounting holes on the back at all. This bracket grips the display top and bottom and presents a standard VESA plate, so an arm or wall mount has something to bolt to.

Before you order
Measure the back of your monitor before ordering. The hooks need a top and bottom edge they can reach over, and a back panel between 30 and 75 mm thick at the point where the bracket sits.
This bracket is the adapter only. The arm or wall mount it bolts to is sold separately.
A monitor that already has four VESA holes on its back does not need this — check first, because most monitors over 24 in do have them.
Good to know
Do I need a VESA adapter for my monitor?
Only if the back of your monitor has no four-hole mounting pattern. Look for four screw holes in a square, 75 or 100 mm apart, behind the stand — if they are there, an arm bolts on directly and you can skip this bracket entirely.
How do I know if my monitor will fit?
Check two numbers: the screen size must be between 17 and 27 inches, and the back panel must be between 30 and 75 mm thick where the bracket will sit. Measure the thickness with the stand still attached; you are measuring the display body, not the base.
Will it damage my monitor?
No. The bracket clamps over the top and bottom edges of the display rather than screwing into it, so nothing is drilled and nothing is glued. It can be removed at any time and leaves the monitor as it was.
What does it weigh, and what can it carry?
The bracket is rated to 14.3 lb (6.5 kg), which covers nearly every monitor in its 17–27 in size range. Add the bracket's own weight to your monitor's when you check the arm's capacity.
